Sunday School 11 - 2 Nephi 26-30

My wife pointed out today that the poetry style of writing of the book, Tess of the Derberville, is difficult to understand. Isaiah at times is no different.  At times I struggle to understand the Book of Mormon, Isaiah chapters. What I have learned though this week is a true jem.

2 Nephi 26:23–28, 33 Jesus Christ wants everyone to come unto Him.
Through our the course of my life I have come to realize through the scriptures that Jesus needed to do what he has done. While most of us want to do the will of the Father,  Jesus is unique in that he needed to do the will, not only because of the Father but because of you and I. I don't know how it is done but he knows us, you and I, we are important to him. Through our obedience we become the children to the Savior.

When we are running like one of the three pigs to others for strength, let's the weaker in to build them up as the Savior does to us.

2 Nephi 28:2; 29:7–11; 30:3–6 The Book of Mormon is a blessing.
It is not clearly defined only that it has come as a light in a dark time, a perfect time where we are threatening  to tear ourselves apart. This one book strengthen a love of God, brought the father's to their children and visa versa. It has strengthen the desire for law and mercy.

2 Nephi 28:30–31 Heavenly Father teaches me little by little.
I was teaching today and happen to say that it is a grain of sand at a time that shows us the little change. I also recall the Native American sand paintings that I saw when I was 13 crossing the country on vacation. These people painted with such care with little grains of sand. The result was incredible. Another example is cross stitch, tatting, crochet, embroidery or sewing. On one side it can be a complete mess but on the other, beautiful threads that paint a picture. Our lives are much like thread and sand. Sometimes it seems irrelevant or just messy but we have not planned out to see what God sees daily. Your life, when you see it as Jesus see it and as the Father sees it is a masterpiece filled with colors that could only come through joy, regret, sorrow, peace, repentance, tinacity, faith and endurance. Have hope! I mean it! You are worth it and I hope you know it. God loves you so much and counts your laughter and tears. Remember this is the second act in a three act play. We will win. We will win. Have faith.

Again, I apologize for not getting this out sooner. Love all you readers and enjoy your comments.
