Primary 64 - The Crescendo

Brothers and sisters,

Moses (whose name means son of none unlike Ra-Moses I.e. Ramsey who was the son of Ra) when finally taught, gained courage and faith was ready to free Israel came to Pharoh knowing that each time he asked to worship the Lord in the wilderness wa not going to be let go. The challenge was that Egypt's gods (who were fake) were in direct competition with the real God of all creation. Or in other words, the vain imagination and vanity and pride of wicked men were standing in the way of righteous doing.

Moses had to challenge the artificial and worldly power that was being held over Israel. At first, the priests could mimic the miracles as they were small and they were outside with hail, lice, frogs, flies, and cattle sickness, but that was not enough. Then it was boils, darkness, and the loss of fields. Still, it was not enough. The Lord who didn't want to do all the curses, finally took the lives of the firstborn. Again it was not without warning. Those that headed instructions from the the prophet and thus the Lord. Their (Egypts and Isaraels) first born was spared as Abraham's son was.

Heavenly Father wants us to worship Him. Each of us has to be ready to leave sin with our staff in hand and remember the bitterness of sin. We have, at times, our false gods that lure us to stay in wickedness; to stay in our Egypt. We need to take this week to follow the prophet out of our darkness and follow the pillar of light to salvation.

This day pray to know what is holding you back. Pray to know what direction the Savior wants you to take. Moses gained the trust of Israel, let M. Russell Nelson gain your trust. Trust the prophet, brothers, and sisters. Sometime in the future, we will have new challenges like the plagues of Egypt but if we are prepared we shall not fear.

Again we love you guys! Enjoy Conference.

Brother Keller and Bingham
