Primary 150 - End of the year
Class,
What a wild year huh? We have seen how the New Testament is full of miracles, such as the birth of Christ and the resurrection of Christ. We have seen how Christ pulls us from the chaos that threatens to follow us as water did to Peter when he followed his Savior walking on the sea. We have learned to build upon rocks and that our foundation is vital. We learned that when we lack wisdom God with us to teach us. We learned that God has been with us the whole time and that He has lead us away from cheep imitations and encouraged us to keep an armor about us, that war, pestilence famine and death to our bodies, minds and spirits threaten us but we know who will succeed and we are on His side. We learned this year what faith is, a deep abiding trust and with that trust we know that the Redeemer will pull us from our chaotic life and rescue us from moment that threaten to drowned and overwhelm us.
I am so glad I was your teacher. In teaching you I got to know how much the Savior loves both me and you. He has a plan for each of you. You were placed in the right place in the right moment to learn and to grow. He inspired your parents to give you names that would teach you about who you are and what you can become. I have watched as you went from giddy children to future leaders and teachers in my class and was honored and privileged to see how a year made you brighter and stronger. Your testimonies matured a little more and I will miss that and thank you and my Heavenly Father for that.
This next year we will be studying the Book of Mormon. Take time to really dive in this book. It is truly a marvelous work and a wonder. It is no coincidence that Joseph moved from Virginia to Pennsylvania. It is no coincidence that Joseph was troubled and prayed for an answer. It is no coincidence that Joseph was shown plats or saw God the Savior and angels. It's no coincidence that a unlearned young man translated a book in 90 days. A book that Moroni though that the Gentiles would mock because of his weakness in writing (Ether 12:23-27). We will learn the infalliblity of man will not hinder the works of God. It never has and never will. We are building on a rock witch is Christ.Let the chaos come but know this, we wear His armor and bear his banner and shield. Our lives may be full of crazy days and we might sin but we know in whom we can rely, the God who declared His Son to a boy in a grove
Make it a great week. Merry Christmas and happy New Year. Remember, your teachers love you, beat your testimony every where and every time you get. Strengthen and inspire others, lift and show charity, joy is nurtured and not quick like happiness, work is a good thing. It will strengthen you and when we work for our faith, work for our earnings, work in our studies we will see a strength that we otherwise would not. God loves you and bless you daily I know and have a testimony of it, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
